The Mauritanian Electricity Company (SOMELEC) has launched an International Open Tender (AOIO) for the supply, installation and commissioning of two 90/33 kV – 15 MVA transformers at the Aleg substation in the Brakna region. The new units will replace the existing 5 MVA transformers, strengthening the reliability and capacity of the substation.
