The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has received funding from the World Bank Group under the West Africa Regional Digital Integration Program (WARDIP – Mauritania Component). Through the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization, the country is launching an international call for proposals to design, supply, install, and implement a National Digital Identity System and Electronic Certification Infrastructure in two lots. This represents one of Mauritania's most significant digital transformation initiatives, laying the foundation for secure electronic services, digital signatures, and citizen identification at national scale.
