Atlantic Women Hub brings together businesswomen, executives and institutional representatives from the Canary Islands and Mauritania with a shared aim: to know the companies in the room better, to understand the reality of both markets, and to identify new opportunities for collaboration between the two territories.
The format gives the floor to every participant and organises the day into four sequences: first we get to know one another; then we share the real experience of doing business in both markets; and we close by turning the conversations into first lines of follow-up.
Reception of participants, handover of accreditations and first contacts between the Canarian and Mauritanian delegations.
An introduction to Atlantic Women Hub, a presentation of the format of the meeting and of the objectives of the day.
A presentation of Charter 100 Canarias, of its vision towards Africa and of the importance of this meeting.

A welcome to the Mauritanian delegation and a presentation of the purpose of Atlantic Women Hub: to turn the day's exchanges into opportunities for collaboration.
An intervention on PROEXCA as the agency promoting local exports and foreign investment, and on the Canary Islands as a territory for business and investment and a platform for international connection.

An intervention on the economic, personal, professional and cooperative relations between the Canary Islands and Africa, and on the scope for strengthening connections with Mauritania.
The moderator explains the rules of participation. So that every participant can take the floor and the pace stays lively, interventions will be short and concrete.
A first round of introductions given over to the Mauritanian delegation. Each participant has approximately 2 minutes.
To let the Canarian participants quickly grasp who is around the table and what each of them does.
The Canarian delegation does the same exercise. Each participant likewise has approximately 2 minutes.
By the end of this second sequence, every participant should have a clear picture of the companies, sectors and capabilities represented in both delegations.

A joint lunch at the Hotel Santa Catalina. This informal space allows the morning's conversations to continue and participants to approach the companies or counterparts that most interested them.
A practical presentation of investment opportunities in Mauritania, the sectors with the greatest potential, the conditions for setting up and the mechanisms available to support investors.

Having got to know the companies during the morning, we turn to the reality of the market. The Mauritanian businesswomen share their own experience of doing business in Mauritania. Each participant has approximately 3 minutes. This is no longer about presenting the company, but about sharing a view and an experience.
To discover Mauritania through the experience of those who actually do business there: its opportunities, but also its needs and its difficulties.
The Canarian businesswomen do the same exercise from their own experience of the market. Each participant has approximately 3 minutes.
To discover the Canary Islands through those who do business in them, to understand their opportunities and difficulties, and to bring out new complementarities with Mauritania.
“What I take away · what I have identified · what I want to continue”. Each participant completes a short questionnaire capturing what they learned, the concrete opportunities and the connections that deserve follow-up. (Annex 1)
The exchanges in the room are brought to a close and the participants thanked. Everyone is invited to continue the conversations during the cocktail, where the first conclusions and next steps will be shared.

During the closing cocktail, a first synthesis of what emerged during the day will be presented briefly and visually. Monserrat Cayetana Diaz De Castro and Mar Naranjo Suarez will set out the main conclusions and explain how the opportunities and connections identified will be followed up.
This questionnaire will help us turn the day's conversations into opportunities that continue.
