Federation of Logistics Operators and Port Services · Port of Las Palmas
The organiser of the Las Palmas round table, in its own words

The round table of 23 July 2026 was organised by Oneport Canarias. This is the Federation’s own catalogue — the document it hands to shipowners, operators and public bodies to explain what it is, what the Port of Las Palmas can do, and who its member companies are.
Oneport Canarias is the Federation of Logistics Operators and Port Services that leads the representation of the private sector in the Port of Las Palmas and the wider Canary Islands archipelago. It brings together the whole of the supply chain — freight forwarders, ship agents, ship chandlers, maritime terminals, naval shipyards, towing companies, private security and port healthcare services.
For a Mauritanian reader, the catalogue answers the practical question left open by the round table: on the Canarian side of the corridor, who exactly does the work, and under what tax and legal regime. The list of 24 members at the end of this page is the operational answer.
José Juan Mayor Ramírez, President of Oneport Canarias, opens the catalogue.

“Dear friends and partners of the national and international maritime community. It is a distinct privilege to welcome you to this official Oneport Canarias catalogue. As the Federation representing the operational and logistics core of the Port of Las Palmas, our primary mission is to serve as the catalyst that boosts the growth of our enterprises and promotes their excellence across global markets.
The Port of Las Palmas is far more than a strategic geographic node in the Mid-Atlantic; it is a dynamic, competitive, and continuously evolving infrastructure capable of meeting the highest standards in sustainability, digitalization, and connectivity.
At Oneport, we drive sector cohesion so that shipowners, operators, and clients find fully reliable partners in our islands. I invite you to explore our comprehensive capabilities, network with our business ecosystem, and actively participate in the growth of a world-class maritime hub.”
The Federation integrates the main actors of the supply chain and works as a platform for industry collaboration and dialogue with public administrations and international bodies.

Geography is only half of the argument the catalogue makes. The other half is a legal and fiscal framework that exists nowhere else in the European Union.

The Port of Las Palmas stands out as a leading logistics and connectivity hub linking Europe, Africa, and the Americas. This outstanding geographical position is fully enhanced by a unique legal and fiscal framework approved by the European Union: the Canary Islands Economic and Tax Regime (REF) and the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC), providing some of the most competitive corporate tax advantages in Europe.
Furthermore, a stable European legal framework, political stability, top-tier maritime connectivity networks, and advanced telecom infrastructures guarantee an ideal operational environment for foreign direct investment, cross-border logistics, and international supply chain management.
The line the catalogue puts on its opening page. Behind it sits the argument the Federation brought to the round table: an EU port with African reach, a tax regime that has no equivalent on the mainland, and 24 companies able to bunker, repair, handle and forward whatever comes through it.
Companies represented by Oneport offer comprehensive technical and commercial services according to strict international quality management standards.
A leading refueling hub in the Mid-Atlantic and full-scale ship chandlery services.
Specialized shipyards and engineering workshops for complex technical assistance.
Efficient container handling, Ro-Ro cargo, dry and liquid bulks, and passenger cruise operations.
Advanced cold storage, professional customs clearing, and agile global distribution networks.

The Federation’s own forum, held for the second time on 26 and 27 October 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Building upon the success of its first edition in October 2025, which established itself as the regional epicenter for maritime and logistics dialogue, Oneport Canarias invites participation in the upcoming edition of Shipping Canary Islands, taking place on 26–27 October 2026.
The forum gathers global shipowners, corporate decision-makers, industrial experts and port authorities to discuss the key challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
Key sessions address cybersecurity and the impact of current geopolitical developments, the growth of the cruise and marina sectors, trade relations with Mercosur, and emerging trends in bunkering services, among other topics.
