High-Level Strategic Round Table · Mauritania — Canary Islands
Projects, opportunities and strategic initiatives presented during the institutional round table

This report compiles the information provided by the participants in the “Electricity for Industrialisation” round table through the forms completed during the event, held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on 23 July 2026.
Each form presents the participant’s own answers to three questions — who they are, why they took part, and what project, experience or opportunity they brought to the table — organised alphabetically by organisation.
The final section of the report contains an overall analysis of the participant profile, the motivations expressed, the thematic areas that emerged and the cooperation opportunities identified between the Canary Islands and Mauritania, together with an annex summarising all the forms in a single table.
The event brought together a multidisciplinary group of representatives from public bodies, private companies, business associations, financial institutions, research centres, universities and organisations linked to the energy and industrial development of the Canary Islands and Mauritania.
Attendees included executives, business development managers, engineers, consultants, institutional representatives and technical specialists, forming a forum with a high level of expertise and decision-making capacity. The diversity of profiles encouraged an exchange of experiences from different perspectives, making it possible to address the challenges of industrialisation and the energy transition from an integrated standpoint.
